The design was created for a team of aeronautical engineers to represent their project objectives. The team has a parent aircraft they named "Eagle lifter" as well as a smaller aircraft named "Mallard" so the objective was to visually represent the two for promotional material.
The team expressed favor towards this design but requested the head of the eagle also face right for the sake of uniformity. Necessary changes were made as can be seen in the design above.
This was my original design but the engineering team wanted a more simplistic style and after seeing the Mallard as a ducking they decided that was not the direction they wanted me to go anymore. They told me to simplify the design to be more like a logo and to make the duck an adult mallard. I made the changes as can be seen in the above image.
